After many years of knowing Ronna and about a year of being married to her it still takes me a while to come up with something to say about her because she covers so much ground. I can tell you how she enjoys playing with makeup and nail polish, which her immediate response to me scratching my head is, “But I’m making myself beautiful for you.” To which my reply is, “But you’re already beautiful without all the makeup.” I can even tell you how much she misses her school (ADMU) and gets so kilig whenever we drive along Katipunan. Then she would start telling me about her different experiences when she was still a student and even though I’ve heard each story several times already I would let her go on and on because I love seeing the smile that appears on her face. I can tell you how much she cares for the young women she disciples that she makes time to meet and talk to each one beyond the confines of a victory group setting. I can tell you how much she appreciates the friends in her life who have always been there for her through the ups and downs, the tears and laughter, through times of pain and of joy. I can tell you how much she honors her family despite disagreements and differences among them. I can tell you how much of a loving and supportive wife she continues to be even with all my mistakes and shortcomings. She constantly makes me laugh and smile, she pushes me to pray and believe God for greater things. But the one thing I’d like to share about my wife is how much she loves God and lives out the gospel relying on the Spirit of God. And because of her attitude to learn every once in a while she would ask me a question regarding the Bible or share with me her most recent revelation.
What I’ve just mentioned is just the tip of the iceberg because even up to now I’m still learning so many things about Ronna. I’m truly blessed to be married to a beautiful, loving, and simply amazing woman.
